Chelsea tempted by Wilfried Zaha

Wilfried Zaha

According to reports, Arsenal could have a three-way fight on their hands if they want to bring Wlfried Zaha to the Emirates.

Wilfried Zaha stood as one of the English game's hottest prospects when he signed for Manchester United for 15 million pounds from Crystal Palace back in 2013 but after two years at one of the Premier League's most prestigious clubs it became clear that Zaha was simply not ready for the big-time.

His impressive exploits have begun to turn the heads of numerous Premier League's top sides, and both Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with the winger in the past few weeks.

The 25-year-old's performances have now caught the eye of City, with nearly all of the Premier League's Champions League chasing teams said to be after Zaha.

City reportedly view Zaha as a credible alternative to Alexis Sanchez, should the club fail to land the Chilean, who is set to leave Arsenal on a free at the end of the season.

However Zaha only signed a new five-year deal in May so it's unlikely Palace will even consider the offer in January, particularly with their Premier League status hanging in the balance.

The 25-year-old scored his fourth goal of the campaign this past weekend as Palace dispatched 10-man Leicester 3-0 at the King Power.

Zaha had an unsuccessful stint at Old Trafford and was subsequently loaned off to Cardiff City and Crystal Palace after failing to impress both David Moyes and Louis Van Gaal.

It appears Arsenal and Spurs could face some stiff competition as the Mirror claim Chelsea are now lining-up a swoop of their own after Antonio Conte identified Zaha as a potential target.
