YouTube cuts off Logan Paul's advertising revenue over 'pattern of behaviour'

These include taking a fish out of water and giving it CPR, tasering a dead rat, and persuading his viewers to take part in the Tide Pod challenge.

The video was eventually removed, but many other YouTubers felt that there was a double standard for Paul's videos versus theirs because oif his massive following.

YouTube has decided after witnessing the "pattern of behavior" of youtuber Logan Paul to drop advertising on his channels.

The video was fiercely derided online and by fellow YouTube personalities, and eventually led YouTube to kick Paul's channel out of its premium video network, Google Preferred, which is created to only offer higher-quality videos for brands to run ads.

The statement reads, "This is not a decision we made lightly".

The disturbing rat video shows Paul deciding what to do about the bodies of two dead rodents on the balcony of his home.

Paul eventually issued an apology on Twitter and later issued a video apology for the incident.

Since returning to the site, Logan's posted more videos which some people aren't happy with.

It is not known how much the decision to suspend the adverts will cost Paul.

Paul later apologised for the clip, which was viewed more than a million times before it was taken down, saying it was "wrong" and "misguided".

It's not just that Paul is attempting to monetize these unsavory posts, but that his actions are drawing scrutiny of YouTube's entire creator community. "You either love me, or you hate me", he says toward the end of the video.
