"He took hold of my hand and held me in place like this", she said, squeezing the sides of the water glass, shaking it gently from side to side.

In Tuesday's Washington Post story, she offered as evidence of the encounter in the form of an email she sent her mom later that day on January 11, 2006. "I was so upset that he thought I was so insignificant that he could do that".

Crooks came to New York City from a small town in OH, where she was salutatorian of her high school class.

President Donald Trump denied Tuesday that he assaulted a woman who says he forcibly kissed her in Trump Tower in 2006. "Never happened! Who would do this in a public space with live security cameras running?"

A total of 19 women have accused Trump of sexual misconduct, majority coming forward since the real estate mogul launched his election campaign in 2015.

In the same Times report, Trump defiantly denied the allegations: "None of this ever took place", he told the paper, which noted that he "began shouting at the Times reporter who was questioning him" and "said that The Times was making up the allegations to hurt him and that he would sue the news organization if it reported them".

Crooks' account is the latest of more than a dozen in which women claim Trump made advances at them, with some dating back to the 1980s.

He said that "the women, were coming up with these accusation, were taking money to make up false stories about me".

'Only @FoxNews so reported.doesn't fit the Mainstream Media narrative'. Crooks is now running for state representative in OH as a Democrat.

"I think my voice should have been heard then, and I'll still fight for it to be heard now", Crooks told Cosmopolitan magazine. Trump tweeted. "One had her home mortgage paid off!"

"Let's clear this up for everyone", Crooks wrote in the tweet directed at Trump.

"He was waiting for the elevator outside our office when I got up the nerve to introduce myself", she is quoted in the Post as saying. She describes Trump first grabbing her hand, then kissing her on the cheek and then the lips. "My self-image was - I always wanted to be an accomplished person - was demolished".

She added: "It felt like a long kiss".

She said the incident lasted around two minutes. Trump said the remarks was nothing more than "locker room talk" at the second presidential debate and said he never kissed or groped women without consent.

Trump lawyer Michael Cohen recently admitted that he paid former porn star Stormy Daniels $130,000 just before the 2016 election. At the time, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked about it in the daily White House press briefing.
