New England Patriots' Tom Brady shaves head for charity

Brady and Baker shared a few laughs while having their heads shaved in the name of charity

The New England Patriots quarterback changes his look annually, though mercifully he hasn't gone back to his 2011 flow. The company pledged to give over $5 million to the cancer institute if 1,000 people shaved their heads or beards. Governor Charlie Baker was also there, getting his head shaved as well, along with Quincy mayor Tom Koch.

Tom Brady "shaved" his head, although most would say it was more accurately "buzzed".

The barbers onsite donated their time and services free-of-charge. What are the chances the host will ask Brady about Bill Belichick's decision to sit Malcom Butler in the Super Bowl or, better yet, whether he thinks his golfing buddy President Trump colluded with the Russians.

Of course, the cause is dear to Brady's heart - his mother, Galynn, is a cancer survivor.

Afterward, Brady showed off the haircut in an Instagram post.

"Benny was crying, Vivi was crying and they were sad for me and sad for the Patriots", Brady said, referring to his 8-year-old son, Benjamin, and 5-year-old daughter, Vivian.
