Dead Burglar's Family Demand Apology From Pensioner And Vow To Return Daily

Henry Vincent was filmed on CCTV taking cable ties from a house in Kent

Heartbroken friends of Vincent, 37, who was stabbed to death by Osborn-Brooks after raiding his home, believe they have a right to lay flowers 20 yards from the break-in. "He wasn't a murderer, he wasn't a rapist, they're putting (sic) him as a monster".

They even demanded an apology from Mr Osborn-Brooks, 78, who is under police protection with his disabled wife, Maureen, 76, amid fears of revenge attacks after he was released without charge.

An angry Iain Gordon, who said he was part of the Fair Society group, pulled down the flowers laid by the family of Henry Vincent.

Footage from Monday night showed a man stamping on the tributes in a separate attack, claiming: "The flowers need burning".

Assistant coroner Sarah Ormond-Walshe told two of Vincent's female relatives during a hearing at Southwark Coroner's Court: "I know you are having a awful time - I am releasing the body now".

A floral tribute to burglar Henry Vincent has been pulled down for the third time as tensions over the issue continue to grow.

.

When asked what he was going to do with the flowers, the man replied: "I'm just going to dump them somewhere".

Saverimuthu Augustine, 78, said some of the tributes had been attached to his property.

The Metropolitan police released an image of Jeeves and said he had links to Orpington and Swanley in Kent, and Cambridge.

"If it's a normal person it's different, but he went and burgled a house - it could have been my house".

Another local, Theresa Webb, said the tribute was "inappropriate" and in "poor taste". "There were 101 bouquets down there", she added.

A man wearing a hood filmed himself ripping down the memorial to Henry Vincent in Hither Green around 9.30pm Tuesday, shortly after two women appeared on South Park Crescent to reattach the tributes.

Mr Jeeves's white Vauxhall Astra van was found burnt out and destroyed in Star Lane in Orpington, Bromley, south-east London, on Saturday evening.

Thousands of pounds has been fundraised online to support the pensioner.

While one went upstairs to search for valuables, Vincent, who was armed with a screwdriver forced Mr Osborn-Brooks into the kitchen.

Detectives think a struggle broke out between "one of the males and the homeowner" and the intruder was stabbed in the upper body. It is unclear what implement delivered the fatal blow.

Both men then apparently attempted to get away, but Vincent collapsed nearby on Further Green Road.
