Motorola launches three phones each in G6 and E5 series

Moto Z Play, launched in India back in October 2016 with Android Marshmallow, has now started receiving the Android 8.0.0 Oreo update in India, users report.

Motorola plans to launch all the phones latest by June; with the G6 Plus having launched in Brazil yesterday and scheduled to launch in Mexico by this week.

Motorola is planning to sell the Moto E5 in Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America at €149 (about $183 or Rs 12120).

The Moto G6 Play majors on battery life. There's also the portrait mode, face filters, manual mode, panorama, spot color, text scanner, landmark recognition, and object recognition.

In the display segment, both the Redmi 5 and the Moto G6 Play share similar specs but the Moto E5 Plus marks its presence with a bigger phablet-sized display.

The Moto G6 Plus sports a 5.9 Inch display with full-HD+ screen resolution. Inside you will find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage which you can expand with a microSD card. The Fingerprint Scanner is present in the front and for miscellaneous features, it has Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm jack, FM Radio. 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, nano-SIM slot and a 128 GB micro SD card slot.

In the front, there is a 5.7 (inch) HD+ IPS screen with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. Running on Android 8.0 Oreo, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 427 processor coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM. The Moto E5 Plus, on the other hand, is powered by a Snapdragon 435 SoC clubbed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage.

The Moto G6 smartphone comes with 4G LTE, WI-Fi, USB Type-C, NFC, 3.5mm earphone jack with the standard sensors on-board. On the front side, it will have an 8MP selfies camera with a f/2.0 aperture and flash LED. There's reasonably good connectivity here with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooh 4.2 and Global Positioning System. This one has a 4000mAh battery. All the three Motorola phones support expandable storage. In fact, Motorola's in-house software is still fantastic, leaving most of Android 8.0 Oreo alone while bringing some useful additional functionality like Moto Voice and Moto Gestures.

Camera: 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel size, PDAF and 5MP front-facing camera with LED flash. Motorola is calling its take on the full view 18:9 aspect ratio as Max Vision display. The device will be made available in two ROM variants: 64GB/128GB and both versions are compatible with expandable storage up to 256GB's.

"Leaked details also revealed a front-mounted fingerprint sensor, a front-flashing flash as well as what looked like a glass back", the report added. The camera boasts Dual Pixel autofocus and is capable to record ultra-high-definition 4K videos.

-All the three Motorola phones come with p2i water-repellent coating which will help protect the phone from accidental splashes or light rain.

For the photography, Moto E5 Plus features a 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera which is an huge 5,000mAh battery and runs Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.
