Narendra Modi may address more rallies in Karnataka

What Janardhan Reddy does with this cornucopia is a whole other question

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday maintained that the Congress government had wasted its opportunity and "ruined" the State during its five-year rule in Karnataka, and appealed to the voters to support the BJP for a better future for the State.

Attacking Modi government for allegedly suppressing the Supreme Court and remaining silent on several reported bank scams, Gandhi, while launching the party's "Save the Constitution" campaign on April 23 in New Delhi, challenged that if he was allowed to speak in the Parliament for 15 minutes, the Prime Minister wouldn't be able to "withstand" it. The people of the State never accepted the unsafe RSS ideology.

The Prime Minister urged the people of Karnataka to "fulfil the dream" of Mahatma Gandhi, who "wanted to disband the Congress". "I want to ask the Congress, where did your candlelight march go when this was happening in Bidar?" asked PM Modi.

At his election rallies Shah has frequently taken on "Rahul baba", saying he was unable to see the changes brought about by the Modi government as he was wearing Italian spectacles.

The remark, which blew into a controversy in mid-2017, was also condemned by Congress president Rahul Gandhi.

"But one family in the Congress loses its sleep whenever Sardar Patel's name crops up", he said.

The crowd at the airport and the onlookers on the sides of the road leading to the city late at night were an indication that coastal Karnataka was getting into poll mode.

"No MSP+50%, for Karnataka farmers".

While the Congress trended the hashtag Answermadimodi (Modi must answer), the BJP shot back using #NammaModi (Our man Modi) on May 1. The elections will be held for 224 Assembly seats in Karnataka. But outside of it, Kannadigas have serious questions for you! "We dare you to answer them!" "Like a true son of the soil, BSY has promised to waive all farm loans after forming govt If not for apathy, what stopped your govt from waiving all loans?"

Though Modi has so far refrained from getting into a direct tweet war with Siddaramaiah, the two national parties backed their leaders with full force on the micro-blogging website.

The prime minister accused the Congress of targeting Ballari like thieves and thugs, and destroying its rich history and legacy.

Virtually endorsing Modi's criticism of Rahul Gandhi for having "insulted" him, the JDS supremo also said a Kannadiga had become Prime Minister and Siddaramaiah tried to "demolish" Kannadigas' pride. He gave an "F' grade report card to the Modi government on the subject of agriculture".
