Seann William Scott To Replace Clayne Crawford in 'Lethal Weapon' TV Series

Fox has renewed the Warner Bros. Television procedural while replacing its troubled leading star

"Seann is a fantastic addition to this already awesome cast", said Thorn. 'Lethal Weapon is packed with action, drama and pure fun and we can't wait to see Damon and Seann together on screen. "Matt Miller, his incredible team and everyone at Warner Bros. have been tremendous partners, and we're thrilled to bring this show back for another season".

Lethal Weapon will return for Season 3 on Fox next season.

Will you watch the third season with Scott replacing Crawford?? In light of all the turmoil, "the situation had escalated to a point where Warner Bros". As Fox aren't recasting the character, does this mean that Clayne Crawford's bad behavior has killed Martin Riggs?

Crawford was recently fired from the series following two on-set incidents related to concerns over working conditions.

Crawford exhibited a history of bad behavior, and sources told Entertainment Weekly that he had been disciplined multiple times over complaints that he had emotionally abused others and created a hostile environment.

Lethal Weapon, the highest rated of Fox's Warner Bros TV drama series, went from being a sure thing for renewal to being in limbo because of all the problems with Crawford behind the scenes.

After Scott was announced as his replacement, Crawford shared a message of congratulations to the cast and crew of Lethal Weapon on Instagram, adding, "Riggs was a dream role and the experience will live with me forever".

Lethal Weapon also stars Keesha Sharp as Trish Murtaugh, Chandler Kinney as Riana Murtaugh, Dante Brown as Roger Murtaugh Jr., Jordana Brewster as Dr. Maureen "Mo" Cahill, Michelle Mitchenor as Sonya Bailey and Johnathan Fernandez as Scorsese. This marks Scott's first network series regular role.

This season, Lethal Weapon averaged a 1.7 most current rating among adults 18-49 and 6.9 million total viewers. Television in association with Lin Pictures and Good Session Productions.

The action drama is executive produced by Matt Miller, Dan Lin, Jennifer Gwartz and McG.
