Fox said it would pull its episode of "Beat Shazam" featuring Lovato, which was to air Tuesday night, because of the recent news.

Lovato's hospitalization on Tuesday comes just weeks after the singer, who has struggled with substance abuse, revealed she had recently suffered a relapse.

She was scheduled to perform in Atlantic City on Thursday, however it is believed that has been cancelled.

According to AFP, the singer was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital after on Tuesday afternoon.

It was sentiment shared by Riverdale actress Lili Reinhart, who recalled the influence the singer had on her in her younger days.

Lovato, 25, said in March that she was celebrating six years of sobriety.

The 32-year-old Pitch Perfect 3 star has had her own battle with drugs and alcohol addiction, and in a second tweet to a fan drew on that experience to reinforce the fact Demi needed a "support network".

The two rose to fame alongside one another on Disney's Camp Rock, and patched up a short blip in their friendship to become extremely close over the years.
