Mourinho unsure if Martial will return to Man United

MIAMI FL- JULY 28 Bernardo Silva #20 celebrates after scoring a goal against Bayern Munich in the first half of the International Champions Cup at Hard Rock Stadium

José Mourinho wasreportedly angry about his apparently lack of commitment to pre-season and it was reported this morning that Manchester United are fining the player £180,000 for his supposed truancy.

"And with the fantastic spirit we have, in the majority of the players, I repeat: in the majority of the players, we have a fantastic spirit, we go with everything we have to the Premier League".

Mourinho paid tribute to his first United signing for putting the club first, saying that Bailly is the ideal team player.

The Red Devils can end their stateside tour on a high when they play European champions Real Madrid on Wednesday morning (0530 IST), but it's highly unlikely Los Blancos will lose to a team that are missing most of their starting XI.

"I am confident I will get one [new player], but I think two I am not going to get - which is not a drama", the manager told beIN Sports.

Jose Mourinho has continued his pre-season meltdown with an astonishing attack on his youth team players.

More news: Trump Echoes Giuliani: 'Collusion Is Not A Crime'

"But managing isn't just about bringing out the chequebook, it's being able to work with the players at your disposal and making sure the squad gels".

Romelu Lukaku has returned from his post-World Cup break.

"My players [have been] wonderful in their effort but we have more effort in front of us", said Mourinho after goals from Alexis Sanchez and Ander Herrera secured the win over Real.

United have struggled to impress in pre-season with a patchy squad that has been depleted through injuries and key players resting after the World Cup in Russian Federation. "I agree with that". I really don't like that.

"What I don't agree is that the Premier League starts now". The other things, they are too far from my hands.
