Demi Lovato has not released a statement of any kind, nor has she posted anything on social media since her apparent overdose.

The bodyguard reportedly rushed to Lovato's side and propped her up, then attempted to clear her airways so she could breathe.

Demi has always loved her life and would have never wanted to commit a mistake that would cost her life. She had suffered a drug overdose. Lovato didn't appear to be breathing at the time.

Now, with the star looking to be released from hospital this week, it has been claimed she is on board with the idea of heading back into rehab to help her beat her addictions, and get back on the road to sobriety. She wants to be sober.

Demi is said to be leaving hospital later this week, although her expected discharge date has not been made public.
