Colton Underwood Revealed as the Next "Bachelor"

Confession Colton confided in Kevin Wendt about his doubts over Tia on the show who encouraged him to speak to her and let her know his feelings

Third time's the charm hopefully.

Colton Underwood will be the one handing out roses come January, as ABC has tapped him to be The Bachelor's Season 23 suitor.

Colton Underwood shared a photo on Instagram showing him with Tia Booth during their hot dog party on Bachelor in Paradise. She added a few hashtags including #peaceoutparadise and #hotdogsforever, and it sounds as if this Bachelor in Paradise contestant is relieved that everybody finally knows where things stand for her in regards to Colton.

"I'm very excited", Underwood told host Michael Strahan.

"That's what I'm looking for ... being engaged and then getting married shortly after that", Underwood said, per People.

Many fans of the show took to Twitter to discuss the new Bachelor.

In a sneak peek of tonight's episode, Colton admits that he no longer wants to pursue a relationship with Tia.

She shared a picture of her with Colton, seemingly from the weekend they spent together before he did Becca Kufrin's Bachelorette season.

The former football player was revealed as the new suitor on today's edition of Good Morning America.

Despite the backlash, the 26-year-old does have a number of supporters.

Congratulations to Colton, or better yet, good luck. And though Colton is clearly having second thoughts about dating Tia, that sentiment does not appear to be requited.

Earlier, Underwood was among the final four contestants on "The Bachelorette".
