Kathy Griffin airs sexist secrets from CBS, Les Moonves, and Julie Chen

CBS reaches deal with CEO Leslie Moonves amid new sexual harassment claims

"I will be back soon and will see you Thursday night on Big Brother", Chen said in a statement.

"We're about to talk about something that affects everybody's life here at CBS", she started.

'Right after he appeared naked, he came running into my office and did this whole thing about that I didn't send a memo to any anybody and then he picked me up and threw me against the wall.

Co-host Eve said, "I support Julie and I'm praying for her and praying for her family".

"Whatever times I've had of hardship over the last eight years, Julie has always been there for me", Osbourne added.

Julie is still featured in the opening of the show, but when the remaining 4 women walked out onstage, Sharon began by saying it's the first time on the show she's been nervous. Osbourne called the season 9 premiere of the CBS talk show "a very bittersweet day" and admitted it was "embarrassing and upsetting" to have to talk about Chen's husband on air. "But we do. We feel it's right". She's been a friend, she's somebody who I admire and respect greatly. It was, 'Hello, how are you?' Nothing more. CBS has spent much of his tenure as the nation's most popular broadcast network, with hits like "The Big Bang Theory" and "NCIS", and its success has made Moonves one of the highest-paid and most powerful executives in the business. No one was going to take me, ' she said. "All women's stories matter and these women's stories matter".

Now insiders tell Page Six that because of Fager's conspicuous absence at CBS HQ on Monday morning, "People over there are wondering if CBS will take action quickly now that Les is gone". "I am happy when women are heard because for a long time, they haven't been". "It is our belief that CBS' new permanent Chairman and CEO will have the requisite authority to function effectively as a Commissioner and to demonstrate CBS' commitment to the Commission's critical mission". On Sunday evening, CBS announced that Moonves will step down as chairman, president and chief executive officer "effective immediately".

In a statement to the magazine, Moonves said, "The appalling accusations in this article are untrue".

"I am deeply saddened to be leaving the company", Moonves added, calling it "an incredible privilege" to have worked for CBS.

Les Moonves had been under investigation at CBS since allegations of sexual misconduct were first reported by The New Yorker in July.

Moonves stepped down late Sunday following a story posted by The New Yorker that included a second round of ugly sexual misconduct accusations against the powerful television executive. A dozen women have accused Moonves of sexual harrassment or assault between the 1980s and early 2000s, and claim that when they rebuffed the disgraced exec, he retaliated by hurting their careers. "I issued the one and only statement I will ever make on this topic on Twitter. I hope and pray we get to a place where we don't have to talk about this anymore, where women are equal, where this won't have to happen anymore". "I fully support my husband and stand behind him and his statement".
