Samsung launches Galaxy A9 with quadruple camera setup

Samsung has announced its new Galaxy A9 handset, which includes a quadruple camera system capable of nearly every smartphone photography trick in the book. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ comes with a dual rear camera. Today, this device is finally available for purchase in Malaysia and it can be yours for RM1,299. It doesn't look like we're getting this pretty pink one we have in these pictures. On the front, it has 6.28-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution.

The Galaxy A9 is powered by an octa-core chipset, but the nature of this processor is still unknown. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo, and ships with a 3800 mAh battery that draws power from a USB Type-C port. This setup includes a 24MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP 120-degree ultra wide-angle lens with f/2.4 aperture, a 10MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and a 5MP depth sensor.

The upper bezel of the Galaxy A9 (2018) houses a 24-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 will be released in selected markets from November 2018.

Samsung's new flagship phone, the Galaxy Note 9, targets business productivity users with more than a terabyte of memory, DeX functionality, and a revamped S Pen.

Samsung has only unwrapped the Galaxy A9 (2018) smartphone, but it hasn't disclosed its pricing.

Well, the Samsung Galaxy A9 has been designed for the "Instagram generation". The front camera of the phone supports face unlock feature.
