Kanye West has launched into an expletive-filled rant in the Oval Office as he lavished praise on US President Donald Trump.

"The greatest value people have are other people".

According to the Washington Post's Felicia Sonmez, quoting from another Post reporter, West referred to his own comments as "a fine wine" and also, brace yourself, said he'd be open to running for president "after 2024".

'It was something about when I put this hat on, it made me feel like Superman.

During the interview, the Atlanta legend spoke on his friend and collaborator, Kanye West, saying that he felt a duty to reach out to him when he started wearing the "Make America Great Again" hat, endorsing Trump, and spewing irresponsible statements.

During a press conference before their meeting, West told reporters about the slogan: "So the word "again"-it doesn't hurt us because the idea of racism and slavery, different things; it hurts us because we need to focus on who we are now, today, I believe".
